What thread? Yours.

Why are you so argumentative? Can’t you just stop? Is it really so hard to just stop? Post your own threads as PSA if you want.

You harass.
Is it also harassment if someone says my child was already evaluated and they didn't find anything/only diagnosed with xyz but told he doesn't have ABC and someone tells them maybe you should go for a second opinion not all evaluations are trained to pick up high functioning ABC or xyz in girls? Or only when it's pandas is it harassment?

I am also so sick of the PANDAS comments.

I believe PANDAS, like ‘chronic Lyme’ and a few other trendy diseases that lack definitive medical tests, is a very rare illness that has been latched onto by desperate parents who cannot admit to themselves (or others) that there is something, possibly genetic, ‘wrong’ with their children’s mental health or neurological functioning.

To these parents a physical illness that they can treat - even if requires paying thousands to a dodgy doctor who sells endless expensive tonics and runs questionable tests that always seem to return positive results - is something they can live with.

End of rant!

A second opinion isn't a huge deal. But PANDAS and Lyme and these stuff are five million different tests and taking like a 300 hours course to just understand what it is, ya'll start throwing in all these terms about gut health and other things that need like a PHD of education to understand.

If you actually want to look into these things as deeply as the posters talk about them you better drop your job and abandon all your other kids because it's a fill time job the amount of information, and there's no concrete path on how to look into it without investing your entire life into it.
