Is covid going around lkwd now? My husb was sick all week, lost his smell, low grade fever and chills. He tested negative for covid but as I write it out I realize it must be it anyway. My head and throat are killing me now and I was up all night sweating. I also have a runny nose. My toddler was up all night coughing. Do I gain anything by going to the dr? I guess if it's the flu I can treat it? I do have a little baby in the house. (He also has a cold) any tips?

Covid is just a flu/ cold there isn’t anything you need to do different for it. It’s always going around just like the common cold is always going around. It’s here to stay. But if he tested negative it can easily be any of the other bad winter viruses.

No one can diagnose based on symptoms. Either way if you are sick please stay home

Please don't take medical advice from anonymous posters on the Internet. There is in fact an Rx for COVID though it's most effective when taken early and is meant for people at high risk of progressing to severe COVID.

I was so sick just before and over rosh hashana. I texted for everything negative but in hindsight it was definitely Covid. Don’t know why I tested negative for it twice! (Both before and after yom tov) . Just do whatever you would do if you were just plain sick. Vitamins, rest, tea etc
