Looking for recipe for a pan-fried/flipped potato kugel that has a pastrami layer.

I just add some chopped pastrami with duck sauce in middle of my kugel batter

Do you stir the duck sauce and the pastrami around together, or do you pour the duck sauce over it? And do you have to adjust the cooking time at all, or you keep everything else the same?

It's a mixture I use for other purposes too, so I usually sauté onions and pastrami, then stir in some duck sauce (enough to make it all sticky, not to turn the whole thing into a sauce). I use it on mashed potatoes, meat pizza...
But if I make it just for a kugel filling then the onion and precooking aren't important
I think it takes the same time to cook the kugel, but if there's too much extra liquid then it would need extra time

I never did it in pan, but I make my regular kugal recipe and add small squares of pastrami (chunky, not from thin sliced) and it’s delicious
