Each time we purchase a new percolator it works very well throughout the entire Shabbas/Yomtov. However, within several months of use the water does not hold onto the boiling temperature any longer.
And because on Shabbas and yomtov we are not allowed to reset the boil button we cannot enjoy a piping hot coffee or tea as a result.
We've been struggling with this same issue after each of those purchases.
Always trying different companies. Same exact results!
Now we are desperate to purchase a new one again because of this reason.
Any recommendations for a long lasting piping hot (on S/YT) percolator?

Is percolator same as an urn?
If so I’m happy with good old Hamilton beach.

I googled for the Magic Mill percolator and noticed there were many models to choose from that company.
Can you kindly link me to the one you have and where you purchased it?

How long have you had this one?
How hot is the water during the entire Shabbas? Boiling hot? Hot but not boiling?
