We’re doing a fall family photoshoot Iyh. I’ll post our inspiration picture below. I’ll be wearing a rust colored dress, DH will be wearing a navy shirt with black pants (DH isn’t comfortable with wearing any color pants other than black or navy), we got our baby a mustard colored sweater but we can’t figure out what color pants to get him that would complement the color scheme.

If the navy is closer to black then I’d do black leggings for your baby, if it’s more of a blue I’d do denim. But honestly why don’t you ask the photographer? They usually should be able to guide you.

I’d do navy or denim. We just did a fall shoot (rust for baby, tan/coffee for myself), b&w for dh bec that’s all he’d wear… we were advised to avoid black as much as possible, makes ppl look pale and dulls the natural putdoor beauty.

Also piece of helpful advice - bring layers in case it is cold. Chinky cardigans/ sweaters, stylish winter hats, scarves booties etc. Nice matching blanket for baby. This way if it’s cold, you have the option of adding layers without compromising on look. (Assuming your shoot is outdoors)
Would dh agree to wear a colored accent (mine agreed to wear scarf/jacket/tie)? Might lighten him up bec he’s wearing very dark colors. And can bring the color scheme together.

That’s really good advice! Thank you! DH would wear a colored accent. What would you suggest?

Either rust or mustard, so far you have everyone in different colors.
