First of all a professional is really important because the proper breathing and strokes is something they will be able to do forever and I’m sorry to say practice. Someone just told me she wasted so much money on lessons getting her dc up to certain skills when they really only needed a few and tons of practice- like driving lessons. Best is to find someone with a pool that will let you practice or rent one or a public pool etc
