It really depends who it is from/if we would eat in their house, but we love baked goods!

I don't really have anyone in my circles that I wouldn't eat in their house. I love receiving and giving homemade

We're happy to eat any homemade baked goods we receive as long as they are wrapped up in some way. I don't care if it's in a pretty box or a Ziploc bag or foil/saran wrap, but as long as it isn't loose in a bag then I'm happy.

I eat from aunts, cousins, friends. Not from random ppl my husb business associate who I have no idea what his house is run like. I'm also pretty not picky in general who I eat from. I have friends and family members who throw everything out

Our household has life threatening allergies, purim is so stressful. Homebsaked goods are a big no no, because we don't know what is in them or how careful people were. So they generally don't get eaten. My husband (no food allergies) will sometimes bring them to work and eat them there or hand them out.

If we get homemade goods from coworkers, we won't always eat them if we aren't sure about the kashrut, but we always say thank you and only decide what to do with it out of sight.

So personally, I'd much rather get something in a package with ingredients and allergy info, and a kashrut symbol.

I don't toss anything. Whatever is not to my standards is usually happily consumed by dh.

I wrote yes I eat them but we only get from people we know and would eat in their house. If a random person gave me one I wouldn't necessarily eat it if I didn't know them. But people I eat from?
(I know someone who gets from a ton of people including clients and the like. They toss everything as it gets all mixed up with who gave what. But we aren't that popular).

I do hate when people give a ziploc of some candy or treat - like one year a child gave a bag of cereal as it matched the theme... really gross as I assume the kid bagged it herself. Sorry but she touched it. Adults packing baked goods are fine... I assume they aren't a 1st grader who doesn't know to wash hands...

We keep and eat the vast majority of homemade baked goods.

I wouldn’t regift homemade things the way I would pass on something packaged, so a few things would get tossed:

Examples:
- non-chalav Yisrael dairy (or other kashrus concerns/differences)
- if it looks unappetizing (we got Incredible Hulk-themed homemade hamantaschen that were dyed bright green with food coloring and had bright purple jelly filling)
- if the food is loose/messy

And if it tastes stale, or I just don’t like it, it’s not bal tashchis to throw it out.

I expect those types of things get eaten by a child with similar hygiene practices.

I live in a pretty homogeneous community, we all have similar kashrus standards so barring one or two families who I suspect aren't as careful as we are and a couple families who have very low hygiene standards, we eat all yummy looking baked goods. Obviously if we don't like it then we don't eat it but that applies to everything, not just homemade

We usually eat most of what we are given with a few exceptions.
I'm a playgroup morah and once got homemade soup from one of the children, it went straight into the garbage. Child did not look very neat, I wasn't sure what their kitchen looked like!
If nobody likes it or food that need to be refrigerated that was sitting out for a while...

Depends who and depends what and in what condition. If obviously handled by small children it gets tossed. If someone whose kashrut is suspect it also gets tossed. Painfully and with respect, in an opaque bag, not gleefully and disdainfully.
