A few months ago I made a delicious recipe with sliced eggplant and raw gefilte fish, stacked, then baked with a sauce. I can't remember where I got the recipe or how I did it, I just remember that it was very different and really good. Does this sound familiar to anyone? If you have the recipe I (and my family) would really appreciate it!!!!

I once posted such a recipe here, don't remember where it was in one of the yom tov threads. basically I bought the ready frozen eden breaded eggplant slices. defrost a roll of fish just enough to be able to slice it. layer a slice of eggplant, then fish, then eggplant. pour over marinara sauce (or make your own tomato based sauce) and bake for one hour

Thank you so much canadamom!!! I think this was the recipe. Can't wait to make it again. I did do a search and it didn't come up. For anyone else reading this, this came out really delicious and was good warm or cold.
