Can this be served cold? What about salmon knishes? Or patties?
What sauce can I serve over the patties?
(Excuse my ignorance, I am making my yom tov menu, and I dont like fish)

Salom loaf, as in a loaf of salmon gefilte fish?
Yes, it can be served cold. (Tastes better than way.)
What type of salmon knishes or patties are you talking about? Will they be made with fresh salmon or from the salmon loaf? And do you specifically want to serve them cold?

Thank you ra-mom. The recipe says a can of pink salmon, and it has a pastry dough base... The salmon patties are a mix of tuna and pink salmon from the can. I would like to serve them cold, I highly doubt I will have enough room on the stove to warm fish on Yom Tov.

I think that both would taste fine at room temperature. Take them out of the fridge with enough time to bring them to room temperature. They will taste much better that way than if served cold.

Thanks. My poor husband gets to try out all my 'experiments' LOL especially if it's got fish.
