GAMZu's girl and chaylizi's boy will get married. They'll get betrothed now and in approximately 18 to 21 years, they'll get married. No stress about shidduchim, they can spend their teenage years happy and stress-free. Their parents will not have to worry about anything, and they can get back to the business of raising happy, well adjusted kids.

C'mon ladies, who else has kids here? Post the child's age, gender and your derech. I'm childless so I'll play shadchan. Very Happy

Ok, sorry, I was feeling silly. By the way, Mazel Tov to both you ladies.

What about Tehilla's boy? I'd kind of set him up with GAMzu's girl, at least in my mind.

I dunno. Does somebody else have a baby girl for Tehilla's fellow? Or is someone almost due? Maybe Shakleemom is having a girl?

My older dd had three such "shidduch" offers when she was born. Unfortunately she bit one on the nose, took another's toy truck, and the third is just plain scared of her. So we're back at square one.

The moral of the story--if you find a shidduch for your infant, push off the actual meeting for as long as possible.

Yes, I think it's best that the little dears learn basic manners before meeting. They should also get over the whole "boys/girls have cooties" thing. Perhaps we should stick to correspondence by letter until they are bar/bat mitzvah age.

Ok, twizzler's son and Atali's girl. 2 shidduchim!

We still need someone for Tefilla's boy.

I expect that we will have virtual chuppot so that all of imamother can attend.

if you have a virtual chupa, then why not virtual gifts - from anywhere in internet-land!

(I'm surprised that you're making shiduchim only for the babies - that's so prejudiced! why not pair off all our teen-age kids - then you could start the chupas already next wk!)
