Nowadays most people use the word gisen, but I still like to use sometimes the old-fashioned word for the fun of it.

Izay (not sure of spelling) translates to thingamajig.
And itβs fasirt with an βrβ. An βsβ is pronounced as βshβ in Hungarian.

We call an oven a bruter not oiven. A belt a reeman not pasik.
99% of people I know are familiar with these words just use the more common ones.

Yes! We grew up with that word. Hate it. I call it a shissel.
What about loiza ayer? With pieces of rye bread mixed in. We loved it!
