When I sauté for my eggs, it splatters!

Please help me! I want to make an omelet with sautéed onions and peppers but whenever I sauté the veggies it splatters everywhere no matter what I use, oil or pan.

Maybe your veggies are wet or flame is too high

Use a splatter shield. Google it to get suggestions. Works like a charm.

When you sauté onions for other dishes, does it also splatter?

If your vegetables are wet at all, it will cause the oil to splatter.
