I say it's fine. Theres a technique called aging eggs (whites) at room temp for hours when making macarons, so you're fine.

I know eggs can be left out for a while, how many hours is considered safe though?

Eggs are laid with a natural antibacterial coating, to help protect the growing chicken. In America they wash that off, so their eggs spoil much more quickly.

We buy them by the box, 15 dozen at a time.
We keep it in a cool basement, it's fine
When in doubt, use the float method.

My mil keeps cases of eggs pesach time officially in a non refrigerated room. Nothing happens. I tried it last year. 2 cases was perfect fine.
