Winter is so much easier than summer!! I hate the park and spending hours outside
I love that it's dark at 5:00 and everyone is happy indoors. Im so sad that we're changing the clock soon and it's gonna be light out longer |
You must be fun at parties. How can you possibly hate on sunlight?

Well folks I bought a new coat today. I also got a blood test this am to check in on my thyroid. I’ve been off my meds for about three months. Luckily where I live the super cold doesn’t last more than two months. I also wore sweatpants under my skirt and put hot pockets in my shoes this am during carpool. Those things def helped! Thanks for all your suggestions!

Vomiting from 72? What? That’s gorgeous weather! Do you live in a cold climate in the southern hemisphere or something?

"Megafoods" had a herbs supplement mix called "thyroid support". (It has iodine too) Thyroid issues run in my family, and I was having issues with hunger signals. Feeling hungry often and never feeling satiated. I was often cold and low energy. Checked my thyroid amongst other things. Everything was normal. The saleslady at healthfood store recommended this vitamin. It has changed my life.
I don't feel cold all day. Im able to hande the outdoors a lot better. My energy levels are really good bh. And best of all, I actually feel real hunger and after a decent meal I feel satiated. I even lost 10 lbs (out of the 50 I need to loose) just by eating the same basic healthy foods and exersizing. (Now that I have the energy to exersize!)
I'd stroll recommend you try it. It can take up to a few weeks to get the full benefits. It took me 3 weeks.
Mr sister tried it too. It took her almost as long. But after just 3 days I felt improvement. |
Since this is a new page, I'm going to say it again. We don't know what's going with OP. She says she's hypo yet any meds cause palpitations. Her priority has to be getting a competent doctor who can figure things out. Not taking supplements like iodine. Supplemental iodine can work for people but for others, who are getting more then enough iodine in their diets, it can trigger hyperthyroidism and... palpitations. She really shouldn't be taking iodine without medical supervision.
In fact, OP, if you take a multi, I suggest you switch to one without iodine for now.

Great. I hope you're getting a full thyroid panel. That means TSH, T4 and T3. Other tests too. TPO might be good. I don't know what else. Hatzlachah and I hope you get answers.
