I get the whole “Hashem wants us to have a relationship with Him and daven for food, parnasa, etc. and He cut the nachash off from that relationship as a punishment” but I find it a lot easier to focus on ruchnius and having a relationship with Hashem when financial stress is lower. There are so many other things we can daven for and use to work on a relationship with Hashem. Pressure to have to work so much and still barely making ends meet doesn’t help me want to daven, it just makes me frustrated and scared and resentful.
Thanks for reading my rant.

You want the "benefits" of his curse but none of the literal downsides of eating dust . Everyone walked away with a raw deal after the original sin.

Just saying you're normal. Of course this is true. And that's why being poor is considered a challenge.

Snakes only eat dirt as a curse. Even though the curse was mitigated by the food they find in the dirt, you could also probably find thrown out food in peoples garbage to eat if you want to be in a similar situation. But then you would be davening to find a better way to find your food. So be happy to skip that step.
Snakes do not eat dirt for the sake of eating dirt. Eating too much of it is damaging to them. They consume it when swallowing insects and small rodents they find in the dirt. Their actual nourishment is from those insects and small rodents.
