The Morah’s teenage son has the flu, she said she’ll Lysol down the couch etc tomorrow morning before we come. He’s (obviously) not playing with the toys and will be away from the kids tomorrow. Would you send? Group is 2 year olds.

If I had to work I would send. If it was easy for me to be home with my kid I would keep them home for the day.

I’d send. If you’d tell me it’s a 7 year old, I’d think differently but a teenage boy, she’s lysoling whatever he may have touched, and he’s not in need of her constant care; he won’t be near the kids tomorrow

Thanks! Technically I can take off and work at night but it would be a little hard for me

I wouldn’t necessarily trust the Lysol because there will be millions of germs from him in other places that she probably didn’t wipe down
But if he has the flu those germs have already been there for a couple days, and it will last another week or even two. So unless I was prepared to keep him home for the next 2 weeks, I would just send and daven that he doesn’t catch it

Adding to this that Lysol is not as effective as people think when it comes to some flu types. I don't remember all the information but I heard there are better options at really getting rid of the germs.

Curious how you even know he has the flu. Did the Morah announce it to all the mothers? I would never expect that of my kids Morah.

There are probably some little toddlers there with the flu as well. You really can’t protect your kids from all germs.
