I just wondered if subtle ones might be a way to get through YT with my appearance intact. But I would think I probably can't tolerate them.

I hate the way they feel. I am not otherwise sensory. Twice when having my face done the MUA said to let her put just a few in the corner, they're so lightweight I won't even notice.. within seconds I had to asked her to remove them. An extra brush of mascara is just about ok for me and then my lids start feeling heavy. And if I may say, I think I look beautiful with my face done and natural lashes.

So wearing false eyelashes that are obviously false is no different than eye makeup that is obviously eye makeup or a brighter lipstick.
For day most women have a more neutral natural look - Bobbi Brown used to specialize in this kind of make up look where the makeup enhances one's features but one doesn't look obviously made up. |
False lashes are never supposed to look obviously fake. If they do, they're like a purim costume...

I personally think that false lashes give off a feeling of unrefined! Even when getting all glammed up there is still a certain finesse that comes through.
