I’m not very good at researching and I believe whatever I read so when I read about how bad vaccines are, I don’t want to give any to my soon-to-be born baby but then I read counter opinions and I get confused. At the end of the day, I want to vaccinate for what’s really important and safe and want to skip the ones that are low risk or not a big deal if dc catches it eventually…
Anyone can give me specific guidance?

Please please don't get guidance from anonymous ppl.
Find a dr you trust & discuss with him.

I don’t trust any doctors honestly. I just left a practice that forces you to take vaccines. The only one who allows you to skip completely where I live is not currently taking new patients. I really don’t know what to do.

Hep B can be caught from for example if you have a baby nurse or non Jewish babysitter or cleaning woman… my relative works in healthcare in Lakewood and says the amount of frum women and men with STDs is shocking so don’t assume just bec you’re frum you’re safe
RSV is dangerous if baby catches it but the vaccine (which is anti bodies) is new although the technology used is not new.if you are due in the winter till March consider it.

Hep B is a s-xually transmitted disease. It could also per chance be caught through dirty needles but why on earth would your newborn be exposed to dirty needles.
I would never give Hep B!! In general I don’t vaccinate. Children’s Health Defense has great resources and scientific research to back up its claims. I would highly recommend to go there.
This link also has a great video on the topic. https://childrenshealthdefense.....f378f

This is a skill you will practice as your children grow. Learning what works for you and your family and educating yourself.
You can always vac later on if that’s something you want, but you can never take them back. Better to research and be so confident in your health choices. I would suggest reading DrS humphries book first and going from there.

This is what I do. I delay for a few months as they are so tiny. My kids start school before 3 and they need to be up to date before a registration card will be issued. If you are sending to a legal daycare you will need to vaccinate for acceptance. If your child is home with you, you can delay it because he is not meeting with many kids and not susceptible to so many viruses. With that in mind, decide accordingly when to stat.
I trust my doctor in terms of which ones to give together and what is important. She tells me to come back in 4 weeks for the next dose or the next set and I don't always listen.
Make sure your kid is feeling well, not right after a virus or something and just daven. That is really all you can do.
Keep in mind, if you delay enough, some can no longer given as they are over the recommended age.
Give nothing in the hospital, tell them you will follow up with your pediatrician.

Dr Sears Vaccine Book is the most neutral book with both sides of every vaccine clearly discussed. Including ingredients, brands, schedules… everything you need to know without getting convinced either way

At this point you should probably wait. The new Trump admin plans to revamp the recommendations & possibly do more research. I wouldn't give anything now. They are hopefully going to get safer in the near future.

I was thinking the same. Change can take a long time though…

I had the same problem
I gave vitamin c in the hospital. Then I waited until 4 months and I gave the first set. At 6m I gave the second dose of the first set.
Personally polio, rsv, all the scary stuff I’m not taking a chance with. Hep b and chicken pox and flu I don’t think r necessary
Now I’m waiting to see what they’ll do once trump comes into office and until then I’m not giving anymore bec baby is home with me.

Find a doctor you can communicate with and talk to them about it. It's important to be medically informed.
I'm pretty pro-vaccine in general but I would skip the hep B. Not really necessary for most people.
I think TDAP is important for adults who will be around the baby.

Once you decide to not be a sheeple, you can't blindly follow someone else.
It's your child, and the responsibility for the medical decisions you make (including which doctor you use) rests on you. It's something you will learn one way or another. You cannot shunt off the responsibility of doing right by your child on ANYBODY else. Will you always do the right thing? Definitely not. But you have to own your choices, make them with confidence, and daven.
Do your research the best that you can. Make your decision from knowledge and conviction, not fear or confusion. Once you did yours, you give it up to Hashem, knowing you did the best you can with the resources you have. And then if ch"v something goes wrong (no matter which way you chose things can go terribly wrong), you can always go back to the confidence of your earlier decision so you don't need to feel guilty or second guess yourself.

For starters, check out the book “the vaccine friendly plan” by dr Paul Thomas, in which he discusses which ones to delay, which to give and which ones to not give together at the same time. It should be noted that in recent years (since writing the book) he has changed his mind and would advise against all vaccines.
