I never brought my own baby clothes to the hospital except for a going home outfit. But seeing pics of moms in the hospital with newborns I’m seeing that they’re all dressed and swaddled in their own clothing. So wondering if most people do that …

I do/did that for all my kids, DH or other family brought over clothing.
I find that hospital clothing isn't really good for outside the hospital.

I just bring clothes to bring baby home.
My hospital takes off any hats, clothes, or swaddles from home any time they take them back for anything so I don't bother. I'm not sure why.

I learned to bring my own stuff for winter babies because hospital undershirts and blankets aren’t warm enough

Hospitals I’ve been in don’t allow until it’s time to go home. Pics they might have specifically dressed baby for the picture.

I’ve never seen a newborn in their own clothes in the hospital. The steam is probably on 80 or more so the babies are pretty warm.

Never used own clothes.
Let babies spit up on hospital outfits and don't worry about cleaning!!!

No. My last baby was a preemie and came home in 2 hospital shorts: one worn as pants with his legs in the sleeves!
