I know this is totally random, but just curious what others do.
I don't like going out in the evening smelling of cooking nor do I like having to wash every item of clothing daily (tops yes, but skirts I really don't think is necessary.)
Do you cook in your clothes or do you change when working in the kitchen so that your clothes stay fresh?

I have clothes for around the house that I cook in. When they get really worn they graduate to to become the clothes I clean in.

Yes that's what I meant. Do you cook in the same clothes that you wear to work, shopping, social events or whatever.

I change into my junkiest outfits for that. I’m very messy. An apron doesn’t cut it.
Also swap wig for tichel. The heat from the stove and oven destroys sheitel.

Switch to Uggs, but otherwise stay in clothes.

I feel most comfortable in house tops and slinky skirts and change right when I get home. So no, I don’t cook in clothes I go out in.

I do. But then I wonder why almost all my clothes have at least one oil stain.

Of course, sauteeing onions or frying ALWAYS makes clothes smell.
I don't always get to change, but I make sure to change before onions or frying.

I don't change for cooking, I wear my regular clothes. I do put on an apron though.

I wear a robe with matching turban or tichel. The only time I cook in street clothes is if I just came home and I need to get something started right away.

I change into nightshirt almost immediately upon coming home from
work. I hate being dressed longer than I have to and I get hot and dirty while I cook

what’s a housetop and how does it differentiate from a top you wear out of the home?
