Do teenage children count?
The ones who grunt and eat, and not much else?

My next door neighbour has. A few sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, hamsters and some interesting birds. The also had a cow but she died. There's another family who lives 2 streets away who also has a backyard farm, with mostly lots of sheep and goats.

I used to have backyard chickens. Does that count, or do you mean bigger ones like sheep and cows?

Teenage children are not the same as farm animals!

They don’t produce anything. No milk, eggs, wool, nothing useful. Farm animals are producing and teen children are consuming.
Also farm animals are cute and you can pet them.

Whatever you can share. It's a dream of mine to have goats and sheep and of course cows but I know none of that is feasible. So I just want to hear about other people who get to experience that.

I own more than 2.5 acres where farm animals are allowed, but I just know that it isn't going to happen. Maybe someday. Hopefully moshiach will be here because that is the epitome of what we all want and need.

But what on earth do you do with a bull? Do you enjoy him?

You'll have to ask questions because I don't know what to share.

We started off about 14 years ago with just 2 goats. And a tiny property. Then we moved to a larger property and kept some by us and some by another property my husband owned. Then we moved again, and are able to have it all by us.

Are the animals expensive to upkeep?

Or do they contribute food or income,?

where do you live? and why do you want so many animals?

(I’m a city girl through and through and not an animal person so I find this question fascinating)
