My wig cap is a bit big and it costs a lot to take in. I'm thinking to do it myself but it's a bit risky. The net needs to be cut and then sewn. I am comfortable with a needle/thread, but still thinking twice. Has anyone ever done it? Or does anyone do it and can tell me a little more?

It can be done without cutting open the net, it like gets close together tiny pleats

Not near the temples. The net is doubled or maybe even tripled and it will be a big lump if it's not cut.
I've done it before in the back of the net when it stretched but not the temples/ears.

The ear piece is coming down too low? I did it already to shorten, cut off like a 1/2 inch not to much and sew it well tight together, should not be a problem to do on own
