I was walking home with my kids and there was this non Jewish couple walking near us and then all of a sudden they had a whole kissing situation right in front of us!! I got out of there so fast! Then when they were done they just turned around and walked away like it was intentional to be in front of me!

I’m sorry, this made me giggle. Where do you live that you’ve never seen this before? I don’t even notice when it happens at this point

Consider yourself lucky.
I grew up in Williamsburg and Boro Park. Came across this plenty of times.

It's not gross it's love
It's the norm by most non jews

I hope you didn't tell your kids how gross it was
My mom uses to say that all the time and we grew up in nyc, so it was quite often
Gave me a very negative feeling toward kissing and physical touch, which I had to work on when I became if age and entered shidduchim

So be very careful

Why not?
It's disgusting
Do it in your bedroom not on the street

Kids absolutely notice
I was stopped at a red light and a teen couple was making out my 2.5 year old asked me what is that mommy and daddy doing we kiss lightly in front of our kids so she figured they must be married if they were kissing it couldn’t turn green fast enough.
And yea I would say it at gross it’s a house/bedroom activity not the streets same like saying urinating in public is gross
