Kissing is not gross.
It’s beautiful and romantic and maybe it’s unrefined to make out public.
But it’s not gross.

I grew up seeing this every time I looked out the window or walked on the street. It didn't even register. That's just part of how we grew up. We knew that non jews did that and frum jews didn't. Just like all other things the non jewish neighbors did & we didn't.
Why are you so hysterical OP? Is it really the first time you've witnessed a non jewish couple making out?

It's disgusting
Do it in your bedroom not on the street |
It's not disgusting for non jews. It's part of life for them.

I expected so much worse opening this thread. Especially based on the things I’ve read happening in nyc subways and streets recently. This should be the worst thing you see!

It's gross because it should be private. Private things done publicly are gross.

It's the norm by most non jews
I hope you didn't tell your kids how gross it was
My mom uses to say that all the time and we grew up in nyc, so it was quite often
Gave me a very negative feeling toward kissing and physical touch, which I had to work on when I became if age and entered shidduchim
So be very careful |
It's gross because it's in public.

For us jews it's considered private, because that's the halacha.
Non jews don't have halacha.

Depends on the level of making out. Most, if not all, non jews do PDA to a certain degree. It's just a normal part of life.

This is super funny and brought back such memories🤣 I remember when I was younger after my mom picked me up from school we would go to pick up my brother from his school. There was a public high school right across the street. There was one boyfriend/girlfriend couple who would always walk by the carpool line. He walking forward, she walking backwards, arms around each others necks, smooching the whole way. Like I dunno how they even breathed lol they never took their lips apart🤣 we called them richandamy (from the zits comics, for those familiar with that). We just laughed it off and enjoyed watching!

I teach my kids, if someone in public doing things they should be doing in private, we give them privacy by looking away.
Never use the words gross or anything like that.
(This applies to people not dressed tznius, or acting tznius, or using the bathroom on the street, or fighting/yelling in the streets).

It is gross, especially if they did it in front of you intentionally. I don't appreciate seeing this behavior either and I'm not a prude. There's a time and place

If it was intentional, it's definitely gross.

I get jealous . I hate not being able to be affectionate in public. I'm a hopeless romantic ... I love these things. Let them enjoy !
