Though of course you need the correct diagnosis as well. If your treating ADHD but your child really has anxiety it will backfire. True story unfortunately. Make sure you have a current diagnosis. You should be doing a new eval every few years.
No way to actually know from clinical testing what's causing the symptoms unless someone's running neurotransmitter testing.
