My son's class had a bullying problem, really more of a toxic relationship problem like in girl's schools, with one or two boys "choosing" who could play with who and who they can't be friends with, etc. A couple of us parents went to the principal and he brought down a social skills person who did activities with the class and after some time things quieted down.
My sister's son was bullied mercilessly with nothing being done by the chaider until her husband told him to hit back. When he got in trouble, he told the menahel to call his father, who told the menahel that nothing else was working..

I had this with my 7 yr old, went in to the school and told the principal what was going on (after the teacher hadn't managed to stop it completely) and he dealt with it on multiple fronts. First he called the main bully in and really yelled at him. I've had a string of boys through the school and never heard from any of them that he yelled. He said it's the only time he raises his voice. Then he brought in a social skills expert to observe the class and work out what is really going on and do some group work with the kids. Finally, he sent my son to the school psychologist for a few sessions to teach him how to deal with it.
It's been a month and there has been no further issue.

Check out Psychologist Brooks Gibbs on you tube on building resilient kids.
There's a lady in Lakewood (I forgot her name) who teaches kids and parents how to stand up to bullies. She gives incredible workshops.
I think program is called winners.

We had a child being bullied for many years. At one point my husband went to the administrator of the school and said if it doesn’t get taken care of we will have to go report to the board of ed.
This was a kehillah school so we were more easily able to say that without getting thrown out of the school.
Not sure if that helped but at the same time one principal finally started helping. She took the bully and made her a helper and once the bully felt good about herself she stopped bullying.

That worked like magic
The bullying stopped after months of trying to speak to parents teachers principals and kids |
I agree in theory, but how does this help if it’s two against one?
