Good points though. Thanks

I'm in the UK, I see the odd updo here and there and it always looks nice, I don't think it has to in, it's not the most trendy style but I don't think it's something that is totally out.
I had a wedding recently I didn't wear an updo because I don't like how it looks on me but I would've if it did.
I do see some interesting pony styles sometimes so maybe try something like that.

Beautiful and classic. Just saw the mother of the bride with this hairdo at a very fashionable wedding (and she herself does wigs).

It won't allow me access for some reason. I'd love to see it!

The picture posted is very in for the at least a year already. Pulled back in a low "down-do", elegant, sophisticated but not too much.

What can I Google that it might come up?
My teen niece's actually had stunning for their hair . Very elegant, all up with a big satin bow to match their dress.

I can't imagine that working on a wig.

I'm in the UK. Had a siblings wedding recently in Golders Green. Had my wig in a pony. It looked stunning and I got loads of compliments. Not sure an older woman can can pull it off though. Penina Gershon did my mum and sis, you can check her stuff out on Instagram, she is very trendy.

Yes, and the other pic can work for a wig. You need an experienced wig stylist. I'm 37 and wore a similar style to my DS's bar mitzva last year.
I personally don't like the pony look because it's a more informal style even when done elegantly, and also to me it's more of a teenage style. Not saying it can't be done, but I personally wouldn't go for it. A low bun is classy and elegant. You can pull out more hairs in front or less according to your taste.
