What fish are you making that will be good until shabbos afternoon? Not planning to cook on yontif and prefer not to make Gefilte b/c nobody will eat it. What’s something kavodik I can make that will keep?

Salmon will keep. Store on middle shelf at the back of the fridge and it will stay fresh.

I love this one. Please use the proper wine, it makes a huge difference.

I was thinking of doing something with lox on sourdough or pumpernickel over tofutti cream cheese sprinkled with capers and scallions. The lox will stay fresh in its package.

Thanks so much but there is way too much sugar in this recipe. 2 cups of sugar for 4-5 slices of salmon? We really have to watch our sugar intake so I'll need to look for another recipe.

Thanks for posting. Enjoy your salmon.
