Thank for posting! Would you please post here the sesame chicken recipe? I don't have one that can be frozen.

And how do you make your potato kugel taste good after it was frozen?

It’s not real sesame chicken. But it is simple to make and reheats amazing without drying out and tastes good so perfect for yom tov make in advance.

Got it from here:

My family doesn’t mind reheated kugel. I wrap it well and heat a very very long time.

I freeze all kugels except lukshen.
The trick is to put the frozen kugel in a hot oven and let it defrost in the oven, loosely covered with aluminum foil. The heat from the oven dries up anything watery. Just keep the aluminum foil over it so the top shouldn't burn, but don't seal the sides because you want the excess water to evaporate.

I do this with potato kugel, apple kugel, carrot soufflé etc.
Kugels that are cakey, like carrot muffins can just defrost on the counter.

Lol I’m getting close to filling. I try to use smallest pan size possible. no 9x13s.

I try 2.5 lb pans or 8x8. If I need bigger then shallow 9x13. Everything with a hard cover. Labeled on top and front of the pan.

Some ppl vacuum seal to fit more in. I’m not that desperate yet.

Next year I want to freeze soup and compote in square containers. The round containers are major space wasters.

I freeze soup in gallon freezer bags and freeze them on a sheet pan and they freeze flat:)

Sometimes I double the seasoning.

Orzo

Sauté onion, bell pepper, mushroom. Mix together with cooked orzo and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Or sauté onion, mix together with orzo and season with salt and pepper to taste. Crisp up diced salami. Add to the seasoned orzo.

I bought the egg bow ties
Does any brand make egg orzo? Is that a thing, I’ve never seen it

I think almost anything can be frozen!
All Soups kugels desserts
Even chicken soup, but I make a huge chicken soup overnight erev Yom Tov with lots of chicken flanked and vegetables and that’s what I serve.
Fish gets prepared before and frozen or refrigerated

The Chuster one freezes beautifully. I see it doesn't have egg. But it works amazing and holds its shape and texture. The Ronzoni one comes out mushy and isn't that appetizing.
