I make 500 grams of flour per challah. I find that it's too big and I would rather make 2 250 gram challahs. Does anyone do this (or around 250). If yes what's the cooking time for that?

I sometimes split my dough into 2 smaller ones. Instead of baking at 450 30 min covered and 15 uncovered, I do 20-25 minutes covered and 10-15 uncovered. I use a thermometer to check temp and make sure they are done.
