When did you stop co sleeping? I have an almost 11 month old who I’m still cosleeping with and wondering when do I transition out of co sleeping and more so how do I do that. Right now she is nursed to sleep for naps and bedtime. She wakes about 3-4 times a night and need to either nurse or be rocked back to sleep. I know she isn’t waking for hunger because she has 3 meals of solids a day and a snack as well as nursing about every 3 hours. She’s definitely getting a nice amount of calories in the day time.
I’m still fine with cosleeping but would like to decrease the amount of times she wakes in the night as well as teach her to self soothe herself back to sleep. Is my only choice sleep training? Any gentle methods that any of you have used. I can’t even imagine how I would sleep train when she is so used to co sleeping.

Personally not until I stopped nursing, which was closer to 2 years old.

I’m in middle of halfway transitioning with my 6 month old. I’ve been feeding her and putting her to sleep in a crib in my room and she’s been getting a good 4 hours. At about 3/4am she’s back in my bed, but she’s learning how to Sleep alone. I don’t force anything and if she starts crying I just bring her into my bed
