I'm 30 and have been wearing crocs since I was a senior In sleep away camp when it was THE thing to have.
They went out of style, but I personally find them soooo comfortable. That being said, I wear them strictly as slippers, I wouldn't even think about going to shopping/to the park in them.
And besides, they're not so safe to drive in.

I hated them when they were in style when I was in high school and still think they are ugly. They are back in style in the non jewish world.

I could see a transition from Floafers to Crocs happening pretty easily

I never understood why they’re comfortable. They’re so wide and clunky on me, I trip in them. I love the cloud slides, those are comfortable.

All the kids here want them!
For some reason the white or cream are the biggest hits.
The jibbits are also huge! Kids trading them

I still have my Crocs from 14 years ago. I wear them as slippers.
I like Floafers and Natives better than Crocs. Crocs are wide and not great for kids to play in.

It was never fully out, I see some kids in them every summer in my frum neighborhood.
Personally I can't walk in them for some reason.
Wearing them for comfort & practicality, sure. Wearing them as a fashion statement is ridiculous 🤣 imo.

I love the crocs that look more like a shoe. Except they don't seem to be as popular and are much more expensive than when I first started buying them.
I also think the classic croc clog is ugly, but my kids love them. I prefer the floafer type as they fit the foot better and I think they look better.

Where I live in Israel every shoe shop sells imitation crocs, especially for kids
