They just want to eat!!!

All day the kids are bored and just want to eat and then make a mess on repeat. How can I stay sane? Kids 6 and under, after 20 min in the park they were bored and wanted to leave. After 20 minutes in the sprinkler they wanted to go back inside. Ideas? Validation?

At this age they have a 20 minute attention span. have them have a sleepover party on the floor with blankets and books, put on a story tape, give them their regular toys to play with, pay dough is great for this age, put on music and have a dance party…

The problem is so many times I want to give them another toy to engage in but they won't clean up the things they already played with (claiming the other one took it out and why do I have to clean it???) Etc.

you cannot expect yourself to care for your kids and work at the same time.
either the house will be a mess, or they will have screen time, or something else

your kids are BH normal children
