Our turkey london broil is breast meat, and it doesn't look like a roll. It's probably like a turkey roast but not tied up.

What's turkey london broil?

It what they call just the breast meat of turkey- looks like a turkey roast.

Breast is white. If you broil it, you will have dried ich. Are you sure it's the breast and not the thigh meat (which is wonderful)?

Its the breast- yes I know this is white meat- if you broil for just a few minutes on each side it doesnt get dried out at all. It stays very moist.

I know we don't live in the same place, but I've never seen turkey london broil anywhere besides my local kosher supermarket.

I have seen it in a few places. I bought this at Fairway on the Upper West Side- its Empire.

I've bought this in Israel - it is called Turkey Butterflied (hodu parpar) but I made it using a slow roast method and then sliced it thinly for oven roasted turkey sandwiches. I was less than estatic about the results as it wasn't anything like the store deli version. How do you make yours?

its not ever going to taste like store bought turkey deli. I marinate with diff marinades (I am going to use a terriyake for this shabbas) and broil it for just a few minutes on each side. It tastes like the white meat you would get off a whole turkey.

I have reported your post. I don't think women should see your example of laziness.

NO SOUP?!

I need someone to hold me. I need to close my eyes and forget this admission of a soupless Shabbat. And uninspired about dessert? I can't imagine the shame you must feel. No soup for you! No shidduch for you!

You cant imagine the "same" I would feel. Have I shocked you into a typo????

Earlier, I was on strike, but then I had a minor burst of energy.

A typo? How embarrassing! I've corrected, but I shall feel the same..er..shame for a while. Partly because I was so shocked by your failure to produce a soup, and partly because I'm eating watermelon and arguing with one of my kids while I type. Not a great multi-tasker.

Cookielady, I see broccoli/cauliflower kugel muffins in your menu. Do you have a recipe for it somewhere on this site, or can you post it now? Thanks.
