Question in title. What are the weirdest, most unusual first names in your family tree? All the posts about names made me wonder!

We have Elkana--what makes it weird is that this is my great-great-grandfather--going back to mid-1800s, no secular/yiddish name from what I can tell and he lived in Lithuania/Russia. It seems like an unusual name for that time period.

My baby nephew is Elkana. We call him Elky. It's super cute and fits him perfectly. My sister named him after my grandmother, Elka. Also, Elkana was a very important person in Tanach. I wonder why there aren't more of them walking around.

My Dh is Paul. I always thought that was very non-Jewish. (He has a very Jewish Hebrew name.)
