What is this? Can you post a recipe? Sounds so hearty.
I had a zucchini soup in the freezer.
I made maple balsamic chicken, breaded zucchini sticks, and smokey sweet potato. Pretty random (Made up recipes) and last minute but everything was delicious Bh.
milchig brocoli soup is extremely easy and delicious. I cook frozen broccoli in water with salt. I blend it with staffmixer. Than I cook leek in it (I used frozen cut leek) and before serving I added a little bit milk. You can also add nutmeg to taste if you like it.
For the omelette I fried vegtables. I did zucchini, red paper, muchroom, onion and celery. I spiced it.
In a pan I made an omelette. When it was almost ready I added the vegetables only on half the omelette with a slice of cheese on top and folded the omelette. So basically hid what was inside. Also simple and very tasty
I sauteed an onion, a few cloves of garlic, 3 bell peppers and a large can of fire roasted tomatoes. I cut up two corn torillas in small pieces and added that to the pot. I seasoned it with some smoked paprika and chili powder. I added a carton of no chicken stock and let it simmer for 30 min. Then I blended. Its really a blank canvas for different proteins and toppings.
I'm pp so now is the time to pull out those pans from freezer or go ez.
Yesterday my freezer produced:
Spinach, Cauliflower soup, sloppy Joe with veggies & orzo with pastrami mushrooms.
Today, it produced lukshen cheese kugel & made pizza bread on sandwich maker & cut up fruit salad
Cut the edges off fresh snap peas. Peel about 10+ (the more the merrier) pearl onions and line pan with oil, onions, snap peas and sprinkle salt and garlic powder to taste. Bake covered at 350 till it reaches your preferred texture (crunchy or soft) and the onions are well caramelized. simple and absolutely delicious!
