I need some new ideas of easy delicious hearty suppers that can be put up quickly in morning or when arrive home from work and taste fresh and delicious for everyone. My kids are bored of my standard suppers of shnitzel, hamburgers, meatballs, chicken. I work full time and arrive home same time as kids so this needs to be easy and quick. Any ideas?

I love crockpot dinners! Beef stew, split pea soup with meat, mushroom barley soup with meat, chicken with rice/potatoes, filling for chicken fajitas- stuff in tortilla when you come home, meatballs

Thanks! I've been using crock pot for simple chicken and potatoes. Can you please send ideas/recipes for above you mentioned? What kind of meat, what spices, all the details. Thanks!

Most of my kids don’t like ground meat so it doesn’t work for us. What we do instead is make pulled beef. I put up any well priced piece of meat in the morning (15-20 for a large piece) London broil, chuck, wtvr is on sale. I sometimes add potatoes sometimes not. Some bbq sauce or mikes garlic stir fry salt and spices add water to cover. it’s ready and super soft or be “pulled” with 2 forks when we all get home. For my kids that like tacos we set up a taco bar and it can be put in a taco with corn, lettuce, tomato, anything they want.

Beef stew- stew meat- coat with flour and brown (can skip this step if in rush) add onion carrots and potatoes, tomato sauce and salt and pepper- I put it up in the morning and leave it on low

Fajita- chicken strips, multicolored peppers, jalapeños if desire, onions, spice with chili powder, salt, pepper, garlic, paprika cumin and a splash of lemon juice. When ready, I put into tortillas and I sometimes add rice

Enjoy!
