I want to make shnitzel/ckn breast salad for shabbos lunch. (basically, tom, cuc, peppers and shnitzel). how do I make the shnitzel for this? do I fry it in any special way or sauce? do I bake it plain or in a sauce? how do I do this? please help asap.

I don't think there is any right or wrong. I wouldn't make with sauce cause you will have salad dressing anyway. I usually just season the chicken with garlic (powder), pepper, paprika and grill or bake... then slice up for salad right before serving.

I'd sprinkle garlic, parsley, paprika, salt and pepper, and bake it for 10 mins covered.

thanks. and what type of dressing would you put on the salad?
cuz I thought if I'm making ketchup\mayo dressing I can fry the shnitzel pieces in ketchup, mayo and a bit of oil and then just dump the whole thin gon the salad. is that wierd?

dont fry the shnitzel. bake it for 10 mins exactly, covered, and they'll be nice and moist.
And dressing, put a regular mayo ketchup dressing even with what I described.
