Hi. When not niddah on Tisha B'av, do harchokos have to kept?

I just asked dh about this. he said for sure beds must be separated, no hugging or kissing, and that machmirim will not touch either. of course, we are going to be machmirim... sigh...

Yes, they do. My dh (who is a rabbi) just said "especially the main ones".

I haven't asked about 9 Av specifically, but in general what I was always told when we were not allowed to be together but not nidda either was basically what tryinghard said - certainly no hugging/kissing, preferably no touching or at least limited, but no need for harchakos such as not passing things, etc. That's what I was told during shiva so I assume 9 Av is in the same kind of category.

In terms of handing stuff to each other and touching we are careful until chatzos. But everything else the entire day.

We were taught to keep full harchakas on Tisha B'Av and Yom Kippur the entire time.
