I was at a wedding recently and for the appetizer they had these salmon pinwheel things with some kind of stuffing inside (I thought it was spinach and possibly potato but I wasn't sure). These were salmon fillets obviously made very thin, then the stuffing on top and rolled up. With a dill sauce on the side. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about and have the recipe? They were so pretty and yummy and I really want to make them.

I had it in Aim Byisroel for lunch it was beautiful and delicious. If you call them up they might give you the recipe. (I know that the cook shares recipes with the ladies.) 845-354-8600. If you manage to get it, would you be so kind and please post it.

Isher I thought I am the only one that still drools over that salmon/spinach thing. It was delcious and sounds like very easy to make.
Would love to have the recipe.

Ok, so instead of actually calling, I decided to make it up myself. And it turned out great!
I took a package of frozen spinach (the rectangle size one) and thawed it out. I added a sauteed onion, some minced garlic, about a cup of bread crumbs and two eggs. I skinned the salmon and then then pounded it flat. I spread the spinach mixture over the salmon and rolled it up, tying it with string so it wouldn't fall apart. I then baked it covered at 375 for half an hour and then uncovered it, sprinkled a little paprika to make it pretty and baked it for another 10 minutes. It looks so pretty!
