Usually, I have a very clear face, but last night, a pimple popped out right in the middle of my chin. Well, my 16 month old noticed it this morning and started pointing at it. So I said to her, "Pimple. Pretty." She repeated, "Petty," and continued on her merry way. So when you're having one of those bad-skin days, come on over, and someone will give you a compliment!

When my nephew was around four years old, he came to visit us shortly after Purim. I was having a bad-skin week, which he noticed, and he said, "Tante Sarah, you look just like Vashti!" and laughed his head off. It was a real ego-booster....
