New book by Raizy Fried "The Anatomy of a Yenta"

Just finished the book yesterday it was a really great fee-good read. I think women will really appreciate it. Especially the friendship chapter Raizy discusses really important stuff we all go through and how to make/keep real true relationships etc.

Shterna Ginsbergs is first and foremost a rebbetzin. She has a shul and a school and only years and years later did she write a book based on Torah and Tanya. I would never call her a businesswoman.
I do hope she makes money from speaking and coaching.
I have no issue with people making money. Most speakers charge.
The discussion was about a book, a self help book actually.
I don't get this whole people are bashing bc she's chassidish. Being chassidish doesn't matter here at all. I wouldn't bash someone for that.
I also want to repeat that people are responding this way because there have been countless threads about raizy and they all seem to be fronts for PR for her.

There’s no proof of anything but I haven’t seen another book being promoted like this one is. Something is definitely fishy here.

There are also countless of threads going on about get refusers and all sorts of things about gets at the same time.
Posts tend to come in chunks when news is hot and ppl are interested.

Because it’s a new book and not just any new book a very different kind of book. We haven’t seen this type of self help Meir book in then Frum world. Plus Raizy is very vulnerable and raw in there and everyone is talking about it. And she is Chassidish. Nothing fishy!

I don't follow Raizy and I didn't read the book. I will say that it is unique for a chassidish woman to write a personal self help style memoir so I can see why it would get a lot of excitement (and bashing too)

I also imagine that those that are interested in reading the book may be uncomfortable discussing it in real life as social media is not as accepted. This may be their place they feel comfortable to discuss and wonder about this.

I didn't say that it was a PR move, I said it seems like it.
I don't know why the mods didn't just merge all the threads.

No one I know is talking about it but I am not chassidish so maybe it's all the rage in those circles.

Btw there are other things I’ve noticed primoted super strongly on here lately. I would never call it out but I feel like it is more and more obvious across multiple threads. But no one calls them out for PR ever and focuses on them. Only this topic.

I looked through her insta, it seems like she has a lot of followers. Maybe that's why there is so many threads?
I am just curious on the demographics of her followers, cuz I feel like the ladies that she caters to don't have insta🤔
I definitely have not heard about her book from neighbors or friends (I am lakewood yeshivish).
