Did anyone see this book from Raizy Freid come out?
She posted it today on her website

What do you say to the name of the book?

it’s cute a I just wonder if it will narrow her targeted audience. plenty of people don’t identify with the “yenta” label…

Agree. I don't know what she means by that.

Sounds like half memoir, half self help book. Title is very intriguing and I would love to read it!

What I dont like about this name, and with all due respect to Raizy and her journey, there is no need to tear down other women in order to promote yourself.
I feel like she is stereotyping all 'other' women who didnt do the work she did and can now benefit so much from reading how she went from a 'pathetic yenta' (her words) to someone special.

Honestly to me it sounds like she copied the title from “anatomy of a yenta” and the front cover looks quite little girly - reminds me of “wonder of becoming you”.

I’m sure many of her followers will love it. Totally not for me though. And I agree with the above poster, I stopped following her because of that feeling I was getting that she was shooting the hand that served her so to speak.

I also think it’s a strange choice for a title and probably wouldn’t pick it up unless I was really bored

If you dont like a book dont read it. I feel it is wrong to totally bash a person or someones product in a public forum.

I'm really excited to read it and I think that people who don't watch her app may be very surprised to read it. She has much more depth than recipes and floral arrangements. On a professional level I'm excited for her and how it may change the public perception (especially the haters which I'm not sure why this site really attracts) and reveal a whole new side to her audience. Personally I'm curious to read about her journey of self growth and what she's learned along the way.
