Save your loshan hora and venomous jealousy for elsewhere. |
Funny, I didn’t connote any negativity in her comment. Why did you jump to that???

"Preaches" generally has a negative connotation to it.
In any case, that's not what the book is about.

How disappointing! From the title, I thought it was going to be a work of satirical humor.

It's advertised and marketed as a self help memoir.

I'd recommend Your Awesome Self, by Shterna Ginsburg
Just started reading it. Excellent book about being your neshama.
(I haven't read the yenta book)

It's not a comedy book, but she definitely infuses it with her sense of humor I laughed in many places

Are you from Monroe? If yes you'll love it. She has a whole chapter about being open minded debunking those that think that those that have many children or are very from are Opressed. It's based on a conversation in Monroe at Mei Menichas.
It's hard to explain the essence of the narrative, because it's so detailed and well written with her personal stories, humor and flair. It's truly a beautifully written book that I couldn't put down. Not your typical boring self help book. Artistically written weaving personal experiences with lessons learnt and tons of Frum female empowerment that had me saying YESSS!!!!! PREACH GIRL!!!! (in a good way) all throughout! It's a book I can't compare to any other... Ive never read something like this in our Frum market.
I know for some odd reason some women here on imamother don't go for Raizy. But I think if they read this book their opinion just may change. She is so so REAL in there! She shares things many women would not. It spoke to a very deep part of my soul. And I'm not the only one. All my neighbors are up with the book, there's so much to discuss.

People don't just write this, it sounds like Chat GPT for advertising

Why can't you believe that someone just loves the book and wants to stick up for Raizy?

Was this such an important piece of info that you had to post it on not one but two threads?!
I have no beef in this.
I sometimes see Raizys things on IG and like to take ideas for preparing the table etc
I do think she's getting what all of us chassidish people have been getting on this site for many years.
I used to take it to heart but many years have passed since I engaged in such discussions.
You don't like something? Scroll on. Its so easy!
If you're using these threads as a way to blow off your bad mood then that's OK. But at least say it.
