hi. can someone explain in simple terms. whats the difference between all the meats. if a recipe calls for first cut, second cut, brisket etc. if I want to make a pulled beef for example what would I use? ty

Brisket is a piece of meat that is made of 2 parts - first cut or flat and second cut or point.
You can make it whole if you have big enough roasting pan. Or it can be separated.
First cut is leaner and thinner. Very easy to overcook and dry out. But it can still be quite good if you know what you’re doing.
Second cut is fattier, more tender and more forgiving when cooking. And is definitely better for pulled beef.
