I use them to make egg rolls. There is a recipe in fresh and easy cookbook. I also use to make a meat soup.

Recipe for 4 slices flanken (you can choose if you want with the bones or without)
Slice 2 onions
Add water to cover bottom of 9x13
Lay out flanken
Cover well and bake on 400 for 2 hours
Then take 3/4 cup of the sauce that's in the pan after baking the flaken
3/4 c ketchup
3/4 c brown sugar
Mix these 3 ingredients together and pour over flanken
Bake uncovered 45 min on 350 keep checking it to make sure it's not drying up or over baking (depends on size)
I made these yesterday, yum enjoy!

*shudder* Much like Voldemort, I live in haunting fear that the word itself will lead to a tuber appearing

My mother a”h used to make a delicious recipe with flanken, potatoes, and vegetables.
We make a variation of it a lot.
Also, flanken stew
Evergreen website has a recipe for flanken soup.
