My little guy (4) started at a new gan last week and was 'zoche' to be abba shel Shabbat on Friday. He came home very excited and I asked him how it went. He told me he wore a hat, had a kiddush cup and sat at a table up front.
"and who was Ima shel Shabbat?" I asked.
(remember, he's new at this gan and doesn't know his friends' names yet...)
He got thoughtful and put his head to the side and said, "You know... the one with the soft cheeks..." as he stroked his own cheek gently with his little hantie...
He said it so sweetly, so lovingly! It was precious!
