My just turned one year old is a very active and smart child. She gets bored very fast from her toys. Any recommendations for age appropriate toys that would keep her entertained for more than five minutes?

Lovevery's toys are CLOSE ended especially for this age and have specific "correct" (or "incorrect") ways to use them. They're skill-based not imaginative.

Whatever you do, NOT kinetic sand. Not a good Shidduch. My 2.5 year old loves it though and uses very appropriately.

Doll in stroller. Depends on the kid, my older daughter didn't care much for it at that age, but my 1.5 year old LOVES pushing and taking care of her doll.
Big Lego she can so.etimes play with for a little while.
Little sitting scooter that can use in the house.

It's quite age appropriate though to have a very short attention span at that age.

I would get a few close ended and a few open ended toys and rotate.
Open ended
Doll stroller clothing baby gear
Magna tiles
blocks
Play doh
Pegs
Kitchen food pots and utensils shopping cart
Menchies

Close ended
Puzzles that you put the piece in the right spot not like 2 pieces connected although if she’s smart she might be able to do that as well
Shape sorter
Egg matching
The activity books like the felt ones

Books are also great.

All the above plus ask what your kid like the most. At that age, the favorite toy of my boy was a real heavy volturno coffee maker that he "stole" from the kitchen, and ten kedem grapes juice bottle empty and clean (thick durable plastic and a big lid were the key there).
I understood he liked threads, and I got him some set of screws and threads and he was amused! Keep an open eye and try with homemade equivalent toys before purchasing any new thing, so you will know what is a winner in advance.
