Looking for ideas and recipes using canned fruit such as pineapple tidbits, crushed pineapple, and peach slices.

We put pineapple on pizza too. Goes well with caramelized onions.

I use canned pineapple for a carrot cake. Peaches can be used for a cobbler.
Both can be used for a dump cake. Which is the easiest.
Dump one big can or 2 15 oz cans into a 9x13 baking pan, pour a box of a cake mix over fruits evenly, dot with cubed butter or margarine (1 1/2 stick). Bake till golden and bubbly for about 45 minutes.

1 can jellied cranberry sauce + 1 can crushed pineapple = a delicious sweet fruity relish for roasts and meats. My kids ask for it every yomtov. They make it themselves, rather.

Pineapple tidbits I use in sweet lukshen kugel and in a chinese style chicken stir fry.

Standard lazy fri night dessert here is 2 large cans of peaches, 3 cans whole mandarin oranges, 1 can sweet cherries, and 1 can pineapple chunks.

Fruit soup
Cherry/strawberry Jello
2 cups boiling water
Can crushed pineapple
2 pineapple tidbits
1 mandarins
Cup orange juice
Peaches optional cut in pieces
Prepare the jello with the water as per instructions. Combine with fruits and orange juice.
My sister gave me the recipe, she said you could play around with it, (omit something, add your own etc...).
I made it for a kimpeturin as well, she couldn’t thank me enough

Ambrosia
Sweet carrots glazed with pineapple
Put pineapples into Carrot Salad.
Pareve cheese cake made from pineapple
Fruit salad like apple matchstick salad
Pineapple sorbet maybe?

1. Prepare 1 box strawberry jello. When still hot add 1 can pineapple tidbits with juice, 1 bag frozen strawberry’s blended to still chunky separately. Yum!

2. Prepare 1 box strawberry jello. When still hot add one can crushed pineapple and a little pina colada to taste. Serve chilled. Enjoy!

Canned Pineapple and peaches and any other frozen Fruit like strawberries, blueberries or even chop up 2 fresh kiwis. Mix with a carton of whip topping- not whipped. Delicious easy dessert. You can freeze and serve semi frozen or leave defrosted.
