I plan on making cooked gefilte fish and salmon-- my question is, can the two be cooked together in the same pot? If so, when do I add the salmon? TIA

You can cook whitefish slices like that, but I don't know about salmon - and anyway, we don't like the taste of whitefish cooked like that. I suggest you do someting else with the salmon.

I cook them together every week, I actually cook it straight in a disposable pan so I can put it straight in the fridge.
I put the water to boil with 1 cup sugar (I like it very sweet) then just put both in together (gefilta & salmon) let it cook for 2 hours (1 1/2 is also fine) I used to try putting it in later after the gefilta, it just comes out softest this way.
Good luck!
Good shabbos!
